I had a cozy and relaxing stay at Noordin Street House, but some aspects could use a little improvement. The indoor pool was a nice touch after long days exploring Georgetown, and the staff, especially Sandra, were super friendly and helpful. However, my room felt a bit tired and worn, which dampened the experience slightly. Overall, it was a solid stay in a great location, albeit with some room for updates.

Rooms

My room was clean and featured a lovely four-poster bed, but it felt a bit worn down. The noise from the family above me made it hard to sleep well.
Service

The service was great! Sandra and Nicholas were extremely kind and helpful, making me feel right at home.
Location

The location is fantastic, just a block off the main mall streets and right next to the bus station, making it easy to explore Georgetown.

Breakfast wasn't great; it was pretty boring and more Western than I expected. There are plenty of better options nearby, though.

The indoor pool was cute and perfect for relaxing after long days out. It would have been nice to have a few more amenities, though.

My stay at Noordin Street House was quite enjoyable with many highlights, like the cozy atmosphere and the lovely hosts. However, the room's configuration was a bit odd, and I found it challenging to sleep on some nights due to street noise. Overall, the charm of the place made up for these minor issues. 😊

Rooms

Our room was well air-conditioned but a little rough around the edges, with low ceilings and an unusual layout. It accommodated my family of four comfortably, but some might find the historic charm more charming than practical.
Service

The hosts, Sandra and Nicholas, were incredibly warm and accommodating. They genuinely wanted to ensure we had a great experience and were always friendly and helpful.
Location

The location was excellent, allowing easy access to Georgetown and fantastic hawker centers just a short drive away. However, it was a bit far from the historical center on foot.
Dining

The breakfasts were simple but filling, providing enough energy for our busy days. I appreciated the variety, although I would've liked a bit more flair.

The small pool was a refreshing retreat after long days of exploring. I enjoyed the cozy seating areas and the general homely vibe of the guesthouse.

I had a wonderful stay at Noordin Street House! The heritage building was a charm, with spacious and comfortable rooms. The location was perfect for exploring George Town, especially with its proximity to fantastic street food and shopping. The only drawback was that my room lacked windows to the outside, which left me craving a bit more natural light.

Rooms

My room was spacious and beautifully decorated in a heritage style, although it didn't have any windows, which was a bit of a downside.

My stay at Noordin Street House was filled with great experiences. The amenities were fantastic, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere was charming. However, the location was a bit further from the main attractions than I initially expected, which was a minor downside.

6.2/10

I had a charming stay at Noordin Street House, which provided a relaxing atmosphere with lovely staff and a beautiful rooftop lounge. However, some areas showed a bit of wear, like the patched mosquito nets and the need for updates in the rooms. The indoor pool was a nice escape after hot days, but the breakfast selection was rather basic. Overall, it was a pleasant experience with its cozy vibe and convenient location.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms gave off a vintage feel, but some furniture was dated and in need of a makeover. My room was generally clean, although the bed's mosquito net had holes patched with duct tape. Air conditioning worked well, and having a fridge was a plus.
Service
8.0
The staff was extraordinarily nice and helpful, especially Sandra, who provided great advice on exploring the area. They were prompt to address my concerns, like fixing the door that didn't shut properly. However, housekeeping often required a reminder.
Location
7.0
The hotel is a bit away from the city center but is perfect for visiting other parts of the island, with a bus station nearby. It’s situated in a quiet neighborhood, making it a nice retreat from the hustle and bustle. Most attractions are within walking distance.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast was simple but adequate, with options like eggs and toast, but I found it fairly boring. I enjoyed the occasional local dish, but there are better dining options within walking distance for a more interesting meal.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities included an indoor pool and a cozy lounge area. However, there was a lack of activities or amenities that felt inviting. The hotel also didn’t accept credit cards, which was an inconvenience.
